Couldn't be more happy with R+J's quality, professionalism, value, and speed. Rudy is super professional and very flexible, he worked with me to figure out project details that allowed for a quality project that was within my limited budget. Our project was relatively small, a 10 by 30 patio slab. Most contractors would not even entertain this sort of a project, or had a minimum cost for projects that was three times what R+J was able to provide. And finally, they turned our project around extremely quickly, from estimate and quote to finished product it was an amazing 4 days. Again, could not be more happy.

If you read through the reviews for R&J's concrete the words honesty, up front estimates, on time, professional, quality, fair pricing come up repeatedly and for good reason. I had just finished building a Tiny Home on a gentle slope in March of 21'. The drive was complicated with a limited turn in radius making getting in and out of the drive a challenge.
I sought out 4 estimates for the job.
Rudy and his Father Carlos were by far the most professional, fair, courteous and honest contractors to bid on the job. The estimate was spelled out from start to finish.

My neighbors have watched the job in process and have taken the time to call me to tell me how great the drive way looks and how hard the R&J team worked.

On a personal note it was a pleasure to work with a family owned business. Rudy's Mom even joined the team at the end of the project!
When I handed Rudy his check, he looked at the figure and said it was the wrong amount, he told me he had sent me a new invoice. I was sure that meant more expense. He said the job turned out to be less than the original estimate! This is the kind of integrity this company has demonstrated throughout the completion of my driveway.

We chose R &Js concrete in February of 2021 to pour the foundation and deck footers. They were highly recommended by a close friend of mine ....so I knew We'd be in good hands. Our studio apartment is only 24'x18' .. modern open floor plan .. lots of light...and a smooth concrete floor . From the very beginning these guys kept us informed of the process , their schedule and answered all of our concerns . Very professional ,knowledgeable of their trade as well as honest . We look forward to working with R&js concrete again in the near future .

Rudy and his guys did a wonderful job removing and replacing my driveway...with a challenge of building up a curb at the storm drain to stop washouts from rainstorms. R&J's concrete did an incredible job on our pool and basketball court projects. Their work is top notch and they were extremely flexible with our scheduling. Rudy and his crew did a great job on a tricky basement slab. Fair estimate, quick to schedule, showed up on time, did great work, and cleaned up after. The slab came out smooth and level. Hard to ask for more out of a contractor. Would definitely use R&J again.

Very reliable, quality work. Pleasant to work with. The crew picks up after itself. The job was a little more complicated than we thought but they stuck to their original cost estimate. I am very pleased!

Definitely a five-star recommendation! I've never before dealt with a family business as honest, accomplished, timely, fair, intelligent, and kind as R&J's. They walk their talk when it comes to pricing, too! The job wasn't easy...a steep, sharp curve in my long driveway was covered with crumbling concrete (probably close to 100 years old) that made driving up my hill close to impossible, and drainage down the driveway was a terrible issue. In two days, J&R removed the old concrete and recreated a perfectly contoured concrete replacement. If I weren't 70, I'd ask this family to adopt me :)

Rudy was extremely quick in response to my initial inquiry, and was able to inspect the site within the same business day. Overall their professionalism, quality of concrete work, and communication was very thorough and prompt. Would absolutely re-hire for any additional concrete work at my home, and would recommend to any residents in Asheville.
